Coordinated by PRO-DAIRY and Cornell Cooperative Extension
Winter Dairy Management meetings provide local access to current research and topics that impact the profitability of New York dairy farms. Every year we bring the program to 10 or more sites across the State. Winter Dairy Management 2015 will focus on increasing milk income by increasing total pounds of components. Component yield is a factor farms can actually have an impact on to profitably raise their milk income during declining milk prices. This program will look at the economics of milk component yield and strategies to maximize the profit potential. It is also an excellent opportunity to interact with fellow farmers and industry folks.
